Pet hair on silk scarves – safe removal?
I wear silk scarves often but my cat rubs against them when they’re hanging. Hair sticks and regular tape leaves residue on silk. Looking for a delicate way to clean without snagging or dulling the fabric.

Silk is beautiful but unforgiving with pet hair. I hang the scarf and lightly flick it to dislodge what I can, then use the gentlest adhesive possible. Too much pressure can pull threads, so I go slow. Having lint rollers for pet hair extra sticky helps because the stronger glue means fewer passes and less rubbing. I roll very lightly with the grain of the silk, peel often, and it comes clean without shine loss or damage. Store them in breathable bags after to keep the cat away.
