Program Details

The 650 hour Massage Therapy Certification Program is completed in 6 months with a combination of online and in person coursework.  This allows for students to complete anatomy and physiology, pathology, ethics, and introductory classes online while maintaining a work-life balance. All online course work must be completed prior to beginning hands-on instruction. 

Students then travel to one of our Institute locations (Ely, Virginia, or Duluth Minnesota) to complete lab work, technique and modality skills, and clinical hours.  Most courses require out of class study time spent on reading, homework, projects, and technique practice. 

We cap off our program with an optional 100 hour paid externship at any of our three spa locations to provide experience in the massage industry. This is not mandatory.
